JANUARY 2020 – CARMELITE STUDIES PROGRAM IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

From the evening of January 9th to the morning of January 12th, 2020, some 45 Carmelite student friars from various levels of formation and locations, along with their formators, gathered at Whitefriars Hall in Washington, D.C., for a session in their ongoing Carmelite Studies Program.

The topic this January was the Rule of St. Albert, the Carmelite Rule, and was a follow-up to last summer’s study program. In a spirit of fraternity and prayer, the Rule was read and studied and each of the Brothers had an opportunity to learn about and share their thoughts and sentiments about this important part of the Carmelite charism.
