Carmelite Students in Vietnam Begin New School Year

Saigon, September 6, 2019, Carmelite students, professed and candidates, gathered for a photo after the Mass of the Holy Spirit to begin the new academic year in Saigon. Pictured with them are some of the teachers who assisted at the English Language Camp which took place at the end of the summer.

Previous, Our Vietnamese student friars attend various theological and philosophical institutes in Saigon as part of their formation. On Wednesday, the Jesuit’s St. Joseph Scholasticate had their opening Mass and luncheon for the new school year.

We wish all of our students a successful year of studies and formation, whether they are in Washington, D.C., Seton Hall in New Jersey, Rome or the various schools in Saigon!
