New St. Albert’s Priory to Begin Construction

Middletown, NY, This morning at 11:30 August 30, 2019, Father Francis Amodio, O.Carm., Prior of St. Albert’s, as well as the Prior Provincial, Father Mario Esposito, O.Carm. and members of the Provincial Council, the St. Albert’s Priory community, Carmelite Novices and various members of the National Shrine and Provincial Offices staff, gathered for a short ceremony blessing the ground where the new St. Albert’s Priory will be constructed. Mr. Joseph Gingras of Billman Ross Associates was also present.

Prayers of thanksgiving and for the protection of the workers were offered. This simple ceremony marks the beginning of this project at its new location, and as soon as the final permits are received from the City of Middletown.
